I juggle quite a number of roles - mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, fan, student, mentor, on my way to becoming an entrepreneur. My day job is leading a department but my full time job is that of being a mom to a ten year old beautiful girl. I am not a superwoman. Sometimes the scale tilts but I try my mighty best not to fall off.
I have been blogging for three years now. My first blog is Everything and then Some..... where you can find mostly meme I enjoy doing and sponsored conversations.
Life Bliss is my second blog where I post about parenting and family life, about my daughter, my friends, my varied interests - books, movies, music among other things. It is mostly about what brings bliss to my life.
I made a separate blog on December 1, 2008, which contains my kitchen (mis)adventures and everything else about food, Beyond Fried Eggs.
I am contemplating on sharing more about my corporate views in another blog but that is on hold. For now, corporate views will be a category in this blog.
That's just me. I have a habit of compartmentalizing things and sometimes thoughts.
What is your most marked characteristic? Being resilient. Some thoughts and experiences linger, they are on my mind but I am able to make a rebound fast. Maybe because I choose to embrace positivity.
What do you consider your greatest achievement? Being able to attend to my major roles. It's not easy to juggle roles. But my number one role is that of being a mother - an alpha mom, a beta mom/slacker mom, a soccer mom. Oh, those labels. I am just a simple mom who loves her family so much.
What is your principle defect? I do get impatient.
What is your favorite quote? The latest inspirational sharing I came across is about the Brick Wall. It's about your dream and achieving it. It's from The Last Lecture of Mr. Randy Pausch:
"But remember, the brick walls are there for a reason. The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don’t want it badly enough. They’re there to stop the other people.
Remember brick walls let us show our dedication. They are there to separate us from the people who don’t really want to achieve their childhood dreams. Don’t bail. The best of the gold’s at the bottom of barrels of crap."
What do you most value in your friends? Honesty. Companionship anytime of the day.
Who are your heroes? I find inspiration from people who show passion and sincerity in whatever they are doing - be it big or small. I am inspired by people who are grounded, who understands and appreciates true joys in life.
Where would you like to live? In a cozy place with my family and dining places and a huge bookstore and cinema near my place.
When and where are you happiest? When goals I set are achieved. And needless to say, it's when I am with my family, my daughter most especially.

I have been quite delinquent with my blogging lately as my schedule is just
full and so is everyone in the family. Facebook and Twitter eat my online
time ...
